Campground Owl Program at Fay Bainbridge Park - Every Saturday 7-8pm June 24-Sept 2
Mission: Through outreach education, Western Wildlife Encounters inspires people of all ages to understand, value, and respect the wildlife that we share this planet with.
Our Outreach Programs are tailored for all ages with a variety of presentations including:
"Silent Wings” - Owls of the Northwest
Backyard Wildlife
Washington Raptors
Q&A without a formal presentation - (Great for special events)
Programs are free, thanks to a generous donor
School programs meet Washington’s K-12 Science Learning Standards
Our Outreach Programs are great for schools, scout groups, senor living facilities, clubs, summer camps, libraries and other organizations
Sorry, federal & state regulations prohibit doing private parties /product endorsements
Our Naturalists' possess permits for all program birds from US Fish & Wildlife Service and WA Dept Fish & Wildlife.
All of our program birds are non-releasable, wild ambassadors and are not pets.Western Wildlife Encounters is a federal 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.

2014 - 28 programs totaling over 1100 children and adults
2015 - 23 programs totaling over 1004 children and adults
2016 - 22 programs totaling over 2203 children and adults
2017 - 19 programs totaling over 2107 children and adults
2018 - 20 programs totaling over 1279 children and adults
2019 - 19 Programs totaling over 2913 children and adults
2020 - unfortunately, we had no programs due to the Covid restrictions 2021 - 12 programs over 414 children and adults (limited due to Covid restrictions) 2022 - 16 programs totaling 1009 children and adults
